About Party Land

Party Land is a territory conquest strategy game made for the big screen. Every land you own builds new units on its own. Pick a territory, pick a target, and send your army across the map: grey neutral lands lose defenders, enemy lands fight back, and if you arrive with more units than the defenders you capture the territory and everything it builds from then on.

It is built for parties. With one TV remote, players take turns: each player makes one move, then passes the remote on, with a timer to keep the game moving. Connect phones through the QR code and the match switches to real time, where up to six players attack, defend and expand at the same moment while the TV shows the whole battlefield. Every player gets a colour and a shape, so the map is easy to read from the sofa.

Play alone against computer opponents on Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert in a 40-level campaign, jump into a Quick Battle, or build a Custom Game with fifteen different map layouts, three map sizes, game speeds and victory conditions. Everything works with just the arrow keys and OK on your TV remote.

How to play

  1. 1

Open Party Land and choose Solo Campaign, Quick Battle, Multiplayer or Custom Game.

  2. 2

Press OK on one of your territories to select it, then move the highlight to a target with the arrow keys.

  3. 3

Press OK again to send half of your units. Use 1, 2 and 3 for 25, 50 or 100 percent.

  4. 4

Press 0 to add more of your territories so several armies attack the same target together.

  5. 5

Capture every enemy territory to win, or hold 60 percent of the map, or own the most land when the clock ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I play Party Land with friends on a smart TV?
Choose Multiplayer. With one TV remote it plays in turns: each player makes one move and passes the remote on. If everyone scans the QR code with their phone, the game runs in real time and all players control their own territories at once.
How many players can play Party Land?
One to six. Mix human players on the remote and phones with computer opponents on Easy, Normal, Hard or Expert.
Is there a single-player campaign?
Yes. The solo campaign has 40 levels across 15 different map layouts with up to five computer opponents, star ratings, and saved progress. Sign in to keep your progress on your account.
What happens if a phone disconnects during a match?
The player keeps their territories while they reconnect. After a short wait the host can wait longer, give the player to the computer, or remove them.
Does Party Land work on Samsung, LG, Fire TV and Android TV browsers?
Yes. It runs in the TV browser with no app or account and is controlled with only the arrow keys and OK. It also works on phones and computers with touch or mouse.
What are the victory modes?
Total Conquest (capture every enemy territory), Control 60 percent of the map for eight seconds, or Timed, where the player with the most territory when the clock runs out wins.
