Quick answer: Shock Battle is a free party game for 1 to 6 players that runs in the browser of any smart TV. Everyone starts with 100 HP and one big SHOCK button on their phone. A hit takes 10 HP, and if two players shock each other at almost the same moment (within 0.15 seconds) the two bolts collide and cancel, so nobody is hurt. The last player standing wins. No app, no account and no real electricity: it is all cartoon sparks.
What is Shock Battle?
Shock Battle is a timing game for the living room. The TV shows a cartoon arena with every player around a glowing machine, and each player's phone becomes a controller with a single giant button. It was built for family game nights, house parties and groups of friends, and it works on Samsung, LG, Fire TV, Android TV, Chromecast browsers, laptops and tablets.
You can play it free at gamesontv.online/games/shock-battle.
How to start a game in under a minute
- Open gamesontv.online in your TV browser and choose Shock Battle.
- Pick a mode: Party Battle (3 to 6 players), Duel, Team Battle, the solo campaign or a Quick Duel against the computer.
- Press Open lobby. A QR code and a six-character room code appear on the TV.
- Each player scans the QR code with their phone camera (or enters the code at gamesontv.online/connect). The controller opens in the phone browser, so there is nothing to install.
- Computers fill any empty seats. Press Start battle and tap SHOCK when the countdown ends.
The rules in plain English
| Rule | Default value |
|---|---|
| Starting health | 100 HP (50, 100 or 200 selectable) |
| Damage of a normal shock | 10 HP |
| Recharge between shocks | 1.5 seconds |
| Collision window | 0.15 seconds |
| Most damage one player can take in a burst | 20 HP (stops instant knockouts) |
| Match length | Short 1 min, Standard 2 min, Long 4 min |
| Players | 1 to 6, phones plus computer players |
When time runs out, the player with the most health wins. If you reach 0 HP you are out and become a spectator.
How the shock collision works
This is the heart of the game. If you shock a player and they shock you back within 0.15 seconds, the bolts meet in the middle with a ZAP-CLASH and both attacks cancel. If they are even slightly later than that window, your shock lands and they lose 10 HP. Every press is stamped with the session server's own clock, so a slow phone connection does not decide who was first.
Because every shock needs 1.5 seconds to recharge, mashing the button does not work. The skill is reading your opponent's rhythm: wait for them to fire and strike just after, or fire at the exact moment they do and cancel them.
Game modes explained
Party Battle (3 to 6 players)
Everyone is around the arena. Tap a rival's picture on your phone to aim at them. Several shocks on one player are resolved separately, with the damage cap keeping anyone from being wiped out in a blink.
Duel (2 players)
The classic head-to-head. Two phones, one TV, pure timing.
Team Battle
Split into teams, such as parents against children or Blue against Red. Each team shares one health pool, and you can only target the other team.
Solo campaign and Quick Duel
Playing alone? Face the computer on Easy, Medium, Hard or Expert, or work through eight stages (from The Garage to the Championship Stadium final, best of three). Computer players follow exactly the same rules as humans and never see your presses before they happen.
Advanced mode
Switch on Advanced attacks for more strategy: hold the button to charge a stronger shock (up to 20 HP, but you take extra damage while charging), tap COUNTER to block one incoming shock, and fill the overload meter by landing hits for a powerful finisher.
Tips for winning
- Watch the recharge ring on your opponents' name plates: a player on cooldown cannot shock you back.
- Do not fire the instant your button is ready every time. Predictable players get cancelled.
- In party mode, aim at the player who just attacked someone else: they are on cooldown.
- In Advanced mode, only charge when nobody is ready to hit you.
Is Shock Battle safe for kids?
Yes. All the electricity is virtual: cartoon bolts, sparks, smoke and funny faces, with no violence and no gore. A Reduced animations setting removes screen shake, flashes and the skeleton flash for anyone sensitive to motion. There are no ads inside a match, no purchases and no account is needed.
